Carla Mamana is an experienced attorney with a demonstrated history of handling estates and trusts, large probate matters, adult guardianship matters, complex business law matters including franchise sales and financing, commercial and residential real estate matters and administrative law with emphasis in the higher education industry.

Carla Mamana chose the Estate Planning field of law to protect families and their legacies. Ms. Mamana derives great satisfaction, watching how proper estate planning can bring peace of mind and security to families. Prior to Ms. Mamana entering private practice, she was an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Coordinator for the District Court of Maryland in Montgomery County and worked directly for the Chief Judge of the District Court of Maryland. She has presented on ADR topics to universities, local, state and national bar associations, Maryland judges, and ADR professionals at various state and national conferences.

Ms. Mamana’s dispute resolution experience as a mediator and training enables her to actively listen and concisely formulate effective estate and business plans reflecting her clients’ needs and resources. Carla understands that estate planning and estate administration are emotional and sensitive processes, and she is committed to guiding clients through it with consideration and empathy.

Ms. Mamana received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland, University College, an M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Management from the University of Baltimore and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore, School of Law.
